For more than 20 years, the team behind My Pilot Interview has helped pilots navigate the hiring process at every stage of their careers, from low-time aviators pursuing their first professional opportunity to experienced pilots preparing for interviews with legacy carriers.
Getting hired as a professional pilot involves more than performing well in an interview. A strong network, a well-written resume, an error-free application, and the ability to clearly communicate your experience and decision-making all play an important role in earning a CJO.
Through years of experience supporting pilots in both airline and corporate hiring processes, our team has developed a deep understanding of how interview panels evaluate candidates. Technical knowledge is expected, but hiring teams are also looking for sound judgment, professionalism, communication skills, leadership, and situational awareness.
Many pilots approach interviews with what we call a “checkride mindset,” providing short, technical answers that demonstrate knowledge but don’t fully showcase the depth of their experience. At the same time, we strongly believe successful candidates should never sound rehearsed or scripted. We help pilots understand the strategy behind strong interview responses so they can develop answers that are clear, genuine, and sincere. Interview Prep

Pilot interviews are high-stakes, and thorough preparation is essential. During your one-on-one coaching sessions, we cover every major component of the interview process to ensure you walk in fully prepared and walk out with a CJO. Clients choose the number of sessions they need but most pilots complete their prep in 2–3 sessions.
30 Minute Coaching Session

My Pilot Interview offers an industry-standard review of the past seven years of your online history, highlighting what an airline is likely to find during onboarding.
